The IPCEI ME/CT Team
On Wednesday, June 17, 2026, the IPCEI ME/CT CONNECT event returns for its second edition, hosted in Dresden as part of the Silicon Saxony Days, one of Europe’s leading gatherings for the semiconductor and microelectronics ecosystem.
For this edition, the entire Wednesday morning of Silicon Saxony Days (June 16–18, 2026) will be the host of the IPCEI ME/CT community, bringing together industry leaders, SMEs, researchers, and project partners from across Europe.
Expect a dynamic, collaborative and relaxed Saxony-style atmosphere, designed to spark conversations, showcase innovation and create new partnerships.
Call for Speakers & Posters is open until April 16th
We invite you to contribute to this high-visibility session with 5000 participants expected by submitting a proposal.
IPCEI ME/CT Participants selected for a talk or poster presentation will benefit from free access to the full 3-day Silicon Saxony Days event (17–19 June), supported by IPCEI ME/CT,via a promo code to be used for registration.
From smart devices to autonomous systems, Edge AI is redefining how intelligent systems process data, make decisions and operate in real time.
Join this IPCEI ME/CT webinar to follow a strategic journey through the entire Edge AI technology stack. We will demonstrate how Photonic hardware and RISC-V platforms are combined with advanced AI model compression to enable critical applications, such as the stabilization of energy grids using Edge AI. Experts from research, industry, and application development will share their perspectives and concrete use cases.
Whether you are involved in microelectronics, AI, embedded systems or European innovation projects, this session will provide valuable insights into technologies
IPCEI ME/CT will be featured at ADTC 2026, one of Europe’s leading conferences on advanced semiconductor technologies. Organised together with the Chipdesign Germany Forum, the session will present how IPCEIs strengthen European semiconductor value chains and support First Industrial Deployment (FID) across the four workstreams.
IPCEI ME/CT is proud to co-organise the ECS Summer School, a full week dedicated to training the next generation of microelectronics talent. The programme brings together students, researchers and industry experts to explore key topics shaping the future of the European semiconductor ecosystem. Initiatives like this are made possible thanks to the strong engagement of the IPCEI ME/CT community, helping connect industry with future engineers and researchers.
As every year, the General Assembly (mandatory for Direct Participants) will be combined with dedicated networking moments. Have an idea, suggestion, or topic you’d like to see addressed?Contact us.
During the IPCEI ME/CT General Assembly in The Hague, project leaders presented 22 posters showcasing key technological developments across the semiconductor value chain.
The posters highlighted progress in areas such as:
Silicon Carbide power electronics
MEMS manufacturing and ion implantation technologies
Sustainable semiconductor packaging
Embedded cybersecurity and smart factory approaches
Photonics and next-generation display technologies
Nine of these contributions have now been authorised for publication, offering insights into ongoing projects, remaining technological challenges, and opportunities for future collaboration within the ecosystem.
Your projects and achievements are what drive the IPCEI ME/CT ecosystem forward.
If your team has reached a milestone, published results or organised an event, we would be delighted to highlight it through our communication channels. The ABGi team is always happy to support the visibility of your work.
