How RTOs Drive Innovation in the European Semiconductor Landscape?

How to Collaborate with Europe’s Leading RTOs for Maximum Impact? - Bruno Paing, VP Europe & International Public Affairs at CEA-Leti. With extensive experience in semiconductor technology and European research projects, Bruno will provide insights into the role of major RTOs such as CEA, imec or Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft and how to effectively collaborate with pilot lines for maximum impact.


The Role of Italian RTOs in Driving Innovation for SMEs and Beyond - Lorenza Ferrario, Head of the Micro Nano Facility at Fondazione Bruno Kessler - FBK. Lorenza brings over 20 years of expertise in semiconductor hashtag cleanrooms and sensor labs. She will discuss the collaboration models developed at FBK and the important role of Italian RTOs in supporting SMEs and research infrastructures, particularly through the It-Fab consortium.

IPCEI ME/CT General Assembly #2

A half-day session with representatives from participating entities, Member States, and the Transform- and Facilitation Group to review the current progress, discuss future developments, and shape the next phase of the IPCEI Me/CT initiative. This is a vital gathering for those involved in European microelectronics projects. 

Attendance to General Assemblies is limited to official IPCEI participants, who should have received a specific e-mail invitation.

Event Highlight: Semiconductor Rendez-vous in Prague

From October 8-10, the Semiconductor Rendez-vous in Prague brought together over 10 leading European innovators in microelectronics. Organized by Minalogic and the Czech National Semiconductor Cluster, this event showcased the remarkable achievements and technological advancements of the IPCEI ME/CT project.


The event featured conferences, workshops, and panel discussions that provided a comprehensive overview of cutting-edge microelectronics technologies, demonstrating how these innovations benefit local ecosystems and generate significant spillover effects. Participants gained insights into how these developments can enhance their businesses, from manufacturing to communication technologies.


Initiated by STMicroelectronics, SOITEC, and LYNRED, the Semiconductor Rendez-vous successfully connected industry leaders, fostering collaboration and knowledge-sharing across the sector.
