For example, the LYNRED Staring Array COBRA is a high-performance infrared detector designed for space-based applications, such as atmospheric chemistry and hyperspectral imaging. It offers high spectral and spatial resolution and is built on LYNRED's space-proven Mercury Cadmium Telluride technology, which ensures high operability and low readout noise. The detector is versatile, suitable for various configurations, and capable of operating under demanding conditions.
