€120M for Semiconductor Technologies in Europe – Apply Now

Funding Opportunity

The Chips Joint Undertaking (Chips JU) has officially launched two new calls to support semiconductor research across Europe, with a total funding of €120 million provided by the Digital Europe Programme.

KEY DETAILS
Competence Centres (CC): These centres will offer technical expertise and experimentation facilities in semiconductors, aimed at assisting companies, particularly SMEs, in enhancing design capabilities and skill development.
Coordination and Support Action (CSA): This call is designed to fortify the network of CC, aiding SMEs and startups in the adoption and application of semiconductor technologies, promoting knowledge transfer, and facilitating networking opportunities on a European scale.

IMPORTANT DATES
Information sessions scheduled for July 12, 2024. Registration is available on the Chips JU website.
Additionally, the Chips JU will open a call for a photonic integrated circuits (PICs) pilot line in July, with an investment of €180 million, followed by a design platform call in August, offering €25 million in funding.
